Stan Trepetin, PhD, is consulting director of information security for CentraLytics. Dr. Trepetin has 14 years experience in the IT Security sector and over 20 years experience in the IT industry in general. He has invented two patent-pending encryption and privacy-preserving data mining methodologies.
Dr. Trepetin is the former Chief Information Security Officer for the 7000-person New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). At DOHMH he set organizational IT security strategy and policy.
In 2006, Dr. Trepetin completed his PhD at MIT in Health Informatics, with a focus on Information Security. Prior to MIT he worked for IBM for 10 years where he provided large systems software support to Fortune 500 clients and was a software developer. He has a Master's Degree from Duke University in Technology & Policy and a Bachelor's Degree from Cornell in Computer Science & Mathematics.
