Managed Code for Applications™

Microsoft.Net Libraries for Microsoft Office/VBA Programmers

Microsoft Office as a Secure Enterprise Solution

Connecting Subject-Matter Experts to the Enterprise Information Technology Infrastructure

CentraLytics' advanced research & development team, led by Chief Engineer, Paul Asplund, has developed a powerful design pattern for Microsoft Excel, termed Managed Code for Applications™ (MCA™), that allows the Excel power user to consume Microsoft .Net libraries to extend .Net's power to Office applications.

Distributing Spreadsheets throughout an Enterprise is a Challenge. MCA™ is an enhancement of the baseline ADO Automation Middleware® [ADOAM®] architecture, and comprises Microsoft.Net programming that is connected to the Microsoft Office VBA project through VBA naming and coding standards.

The MCA design pattern also provides naming and coding standards to .Net developers to empower them to design, develop, and publish powerful function libraries to the Office application design community. CentraLytics ADOAM® is the Solution.

The integration between .Net and Office VBA is through a set of naming and coding standards between an Office Add-In and a .Net dynamic link library (DLL). The product contains a powerful design bench and efficiency tools to generate code modules and instructions to the .Net developer and Office power user to accomplish the integration.

CentraLytics' Information Security & Cryptography Group (ISCG), led by Max Izatt, has used the MCA™ product to expose the Microsoft.Net Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) to Excel Power Users. The result is powerful Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) built upon native Microsoft.Net technology that is now available to Microsoft Office power users.
